He told me it isn’t an actual MP (Although I have seen one for sale in a used shop in Tokyo for about $25,000) but instead a custom built camera.  Nice film rewind lever attachment, too.

Down the street from Nisshin Camera’s main store is a small little shop full of junked out cameras. Nothing on this shelf was over 3000 yen ($30) but unless you can fix them it’s maybe not as good of a deal as one might think.
